Description
English: DejaVu Sans font test page containing text in several font sizes over a cartesian grid, PNG version saved from File:DejaVuSans font test 144to4.svg. Inkscape version 0.47 with the installed font DejaVu Sans was used to create the original file to test various SVG renderers. This PNG can be compared against what various SVG renderers display.

Checklist:

  • There should be a rectangle exactly under the last letter "a" of the first three lines
  • Each of the letters "j" touch nothing
  • Each line except the very last at bottom right is aligned exactly at X coordinate of zero
  • The line starting "DejaVu Sans 11" should end almost exactly halfway through the "=" character following "~"
  • The line starting "DejaVu Sans 10" should end exactly at "~=tilde;iiiiiiiiiim"
  • Several lines end exactly at "INSIDEPAGE**>"
  • The text "OUTSIDEPAGE", "<OUT>", "<out>", or "##" should never be rendered
  • The very last line at bottom right is "DVS16 x:600 y:0iX" and the page border must exactly bisect the "X"; the text "<p :::X<grid" must not be rendered; the descenders of the "y" must be clipped
