Object history
Deutsch: Seit 1912 ist Zirndorf Stadt. Bereits ein Jahr zuvor hatte Prinzregent Luitpold dem damaligen Markt das Wappen verliehen. Alte Siegel des Marktes sind nicht bekannt. Der Torturm stellt die Schönburg, die Alte Veste, dar, welche die Burggrafen von Nürnberg 1306 zusammen mit dem Ort erwarben. Bis 1792 hatten sie die Landesherrschaft inne.
