Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen zeigt die alte Ortskirche St. Laurentius in ihrem ursprünglich romanischen Bauzustand. Das Bild enstammt einem Siegel von 1762. Im Schildhaupt ist das geminderte sächsische Wappen zu sehen, das auf die frühere Zugehörigkeit der Gemeinde zum Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg hinweist. Die Farben Silber und Grün sind die Farben Coburgs.
English: The arms show the old Romanesque church St. Laurentius, derived from a seal from 1762. The chief shows the arms of Saxe-Coburg, where the village belonged to. Argent and vert are the colours of Coburg.
