Description

Српски (ћирилица): Црква Арханђела Гаврила у Аранђеловцу, позната као и Врбичка црква. Подигнута је 1862. године, по одлуци кнеза Милоша Обреновића. Има статус споменика културе. Црква Светог Арханђела Гаврила у Аранђеловцу поседује високу архитектонску и уметничку вредност. Зидана је у псеудороманском стилу са барокним звоником попут војвођанских храмова. Градња је започета 1860. а завршена 1863. године и у ту сврху коришћен је камен из мајдана села Кљештевице, лак за обраду, са природним нијансама разних боја и врло акустичан. Црква је једнобродна грађевина са три апсиде и звоником на западној страни. Сазидана је опеком, споља обложена правоугаоним каменим блоковима, унутра малтерисана и без живописа, са вредним иконостасом у класицистичком стилу. Изради иконостаса посвећена је посебна пажња, и он представља један од првих самосталних радова Николе Марковића. Припада сведеном типу и инспирисан је иконостасом Саборне цркве. У првом светском рату црква је била претворена у болницу.

English: Church of the Holy Archangel Gabriel in Arandjelovac, also known as Vrbička Church. It was built in 1862, according to the decision of Prince Milos Obrenovic. Church has the status of cultural monument.
