Español: Escudo del Regimiento de Infantería Arapiles nº 62, RI-62 (Ejército de Tierra Español)
Los dos primeros cuarteles recogen parte de las armerías de Salamanca por proceder la Unidad actual del que fue Regimiento Salamanca. Las cruces del primer cuartel son como recuerdo de haber combatido en Tierra santa. El anagrama del tercer cuartel alude a la victoria de la batalla de Arapiles en la que fueron derrotadas las tropas francesas por parte de las tropas Aliadas de España, Portugal e Inglaterra al mando del duque de Wellington. El monolito del cuarto cuartel es conmemorativo del centenario de la mencionada batalla, erigido en la cumbre del cerro de Arapiles el Grande( Salamanca). La leyenda de la bordadura se refiere al nombramiento, en el centenario de la Guerra de la independencia (1908), como teniente Coronel Honorario del Batallón Arapiles, al Príncipe Arturo de Gran Bretaña, Duque de Connaught, que era Coronel del 16º Regimiento de Lanceros Británico ("SIXTEENTH LANCERS"), unidad que participó en la batalla de los Arapiles. Las iniciales E.R VII (Eduardo Rey VII) están tomadas del Regimiento Inglés por ser este monarca el reinante en la época. Historial del Regimiento de Cazadores de Montaña Arapiles nº 62.
