Description
Deutsch: Gryllteisten Cepphus grylle sind auf Spitzbergen im Sommer heimisch. Sie sind nicht gerade selten, aber recht scheu. Man findet sie nahezu ausschließlich auf dem Eis und nie auf dem festen Land.
English: The black guillemot Cepphus grylle is a domestic bird of Svalbard in the arctic summer. It is most exclusively found on the water on ice floes or swimming. It is a rather reserved bird and does not sustain other living individuals coming too close.
