Summary

[edit]
Description

A method of temperature regulation in the body and maybe to lighten up the feathers before an attack. I have seen these birds do this pretty much every time before they start attacking the prey.

After many shots of this bird, I decided not to take anymore and drove another direction to find different species. And this bird lands right ahead of me. In the background are cattle and cattle Egret shining in the daylight.

Thanks in advance for your views / comments. Much Appreciated.
