Polski: Na pamiątkę zwycięskiej Bitwy Warszawskiej, która była decydującym starciem w wojnie polsko-bolszewickiej, od 1992 r. obchodzimy 15 sierpnia Święto Wojska Polskiego. "Cud nad Wisłą" zatrzymał pochód Armii Czerwonej i zażegnał radzieckie plany ofensywy na Europę Zachodnią. Na liście bitew, które zaważyły na losie ludzkości znajduje się na 18. miejscu.
Na zakończenie wojewódzkich obchodów Święta Wojska Polskiego wojewoda podlaski złożył kwiaty na białostockim Cmentarzu Wojskowym. Wicewojewoda podlaski Tomasz Madras uczestniczył natomiast w obchodach Święta Wojska Polskiego organizowanych w Łomży i Sokółce. Wicewojewoda podlaski Marcin Sekściński wziął udział w uroczystościach w Małym Płocku. |
