No FoP in South Korea, the photo already shows most of the permanent exterior architecture, which is subject to copyright A1Cafel (talk) 16:21, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain where the difference is between this and the previous picture from 2018? I just wanted to contribute to this page and wasn't aware of FOP because there is no such regulation in Germany. Because the building was still under construction i saw no problem in uploading this picture.__Lucas.lango (talk) 09:12, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination - In most countries, including both South Korea and Germany, architectural works are copyrighted. In Germany, there is a special rule, which we call Freedom of Panorama, which allows photos of certain created works, including architecture, provided (in Germany) that they are permanently displayed and can be photographed from a public road. No such exception exists in South Korea (and about half of all countries), so this image infringes on the architect's copyright. .     Jim . . . The buildings is completed in 2019 by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. There is no freedom of panorama in South Korea. Permission from the architectural firm is required. A1Cafel (talk) 01:39, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think one could reasonably argue that the buildings are de minimis in this picture which mainly shows the beach: notice that the original Flickr photo was titled "La plage Haeundae". Of course, I wasn't aware that SK has no FoP when I uploaded this, hence the less desirable name used on Commons. But if others think this should be deleted, I'll be happy to upload it to Wikipedia instead. —Percival Kestreltail (talk) 15:16, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted. Main object is the buildings. Taivo (talk) 11:37, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The file size and resolution of this image as well as the metadata suggest very strongly it was copied from an online source and is not the own work of the uploader. Ellin Beltz (talk) 20:52, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted. In addition, the depicted object itself is protected with copyright. Taivo (talk) 16:10, 23 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This image is cropped version of File:Haeundae Beach and Haeundae LCT The Sharp.jpg. Although original image can be applied de minimis, main objects of this cropped image are copyrighted buildings, so this image cannot be applied de minimis. There is no freedom of panorama in South Korea. 221.133.172.75 17:28, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
