This image doesn't make any sense to me. They didn't have digital cameras at that time to upload the pictures from the lander, was this from some studio on Earth? It would have to be it seems, particularly from 1977, which might have been before the missions started. The wording associated with this image is incredibly confusing in this light. How is this an image FROM the lander? The idea that a lander took that picture and sent it back to Earth in 1977... no, just no. But it doesn't explain otherwise!
