* Reason: Though I am not incredibly active on Commons (more active on [[:en:User:Anarchyte|en]]), I believe I will be able to help out with the backlog from time to time, though I understand if only having 1600 edits is insufficient. Being active on en means I occasionally come across files that need license reviews. I've worked with a few video game developers in the past to get images to be released under a viable license. I am aware of which licenses are allowed and how to verify them, as well as knowing that I'm not allowed to review my own stuff. ::Hello {{U|Wikicology}}. To be frank, if I were to stumble upon an image like this while I was still learning the ropes, I'd leave it to a more experienced user. With this said, I am leaning towards accepting it because [[:en:Pixabay|Pixabay]] only allows "free" images and I see no reason to doubt that in this case, though I am sure not every one on that site uploads copyright-free images. I looked through Google Images and I was unable to find a version posted before early 2017 ("11 months ago") and the user ([https://pixabay.com/en/users/earthroom-3765404/ earthroom]) has previously posted images that been awarded Editor's Choice. It's also under a Commons allowed license: CC0 or "[https://creativecommons.org/share-your-work/public-domain/cc0/ no rights reserved]" (and could use [[:Template:Pixabay]]). :::I doubt the pixabay user is the copyright holder of this work. Most of the user's uploads are screenshot of a copyright protected works. Perhaps you get a different image link depending on where you right click the Pixabay image. It's also been uploaded to [https://pxhere.com/en/photo/1200438 PXhere] (under CC0) as well as being used various times on Beatport. Seems I was right by saying "though I am sure not every one on that site uploads copyright-free images", annoyingly enough. Kindly read Commons:License review and relevant pages such as Flickr files before applying for the right.
To become a reviewer, you need to be familiar with the general licensing policy of Commons and the common practices of reviewing. A reviewer is required to know which Creative Commons licenses are compatible with Wikimedia Commons and which are not, and be dedicated to license reviewing every so often and offer their assistance in clearing the backlogs. Relevant knowledge can be demonstrated by regularly participating in deletion requests or in New Files Patrolling.
Post your request below and be prepared to respond to questions. The community may voice their opinions or ask a few questions to verify your knowledge. A few days later (usually 48 hours), a reviewer or an administrator will determine the possible outcome of the request based on the input received from the community. The closing admin/reviewer will grant the right if there are no objections and add the applicant to the list of reviewers. If permissions are granted, you can add {{User reviewer}} (or one of its variants) to your user page and begin reviewing images.
