الصور عالية الجودة هي رسوم توضيحية أو صور تلبي معايير نوعية معينة (معظمها تقنيٌّ في طبيعتها) وتكون قيّمة لمشاريع ويكيميديا، على عكس الصور المختارة، يجب أن تكون صور الجودة من عمل المساهمين في كومنز، وهي لا تحتاج إلى أن تكون استثنائية أو ممتازة، بل تكون مؤلفة أو مركبة بشكل جيدة.

يوجد الآن ٣٦٨٬٦٧١ صورة موسومة بصفتها صورةً عالية الجودة، وهي تشكل ما نسبته ٠٫٣٣٩% من إجمالي الصور المتاحة (١٠٨٬٧٩٠٬٩٨٨).

تعرض هذه الصفحة الصور التي تمت ترقيتها مؤخرا والتي تلبي إرشادات صور الجودة، إذا كنت تعتقد أن صورة معينة تستوفي المعايير، فيمكنك ترشيحها في Commons:Quality images candidates، جميع صور الجودة يمكن العثور عليها في تصنيف يُسمَّى صور الجودة، يمكنك تصفح صور الجودة حسب البلد.

تنقسم الصور ذات الجودة إلى ثلاث مجموعات فرعية، يمكن وضع أية صورة فردية في واحدة أو أكثر من هذه المجموعات:

صور بجدارة تقنية خاصة، ويمكن استخدام هذه الصور كأدوات مرجعية للتدريس وشرح المفاهيم في التصوير الفوتوغرافي.
صور مع موضوع معين، ولدى هذه المجموعة مجموعات فرعية مثل "الطيور" و"الهياكل المصنوعة من قبل البشر".
الصور التي تم إنشاؤها بطريقة معينة، على سبيل المثال، الصور المتحركة والصور التي تم إنشاؤها باستخدام المجهر.
