Object history
Deutsch: Das älteste Siegelbild des Ortes zeigt schon 1797 einen Laubbaum mit einer auf dem Stamm quer aufgelegten Hirschstange. Unter dem Baum sind zwei Zweige schräggekreuzt, um den Baum verteilt finden sich vier Sterne. Die Hirschstange weist auf die Zugehörigkeit Aldingens zu Württemberg (seit 1444) hin. 1930 wurde das Wappen ohne die zur Unterscheidung von vielen anderen Linden- und Baumwappen hilfreiche Hirschstange, die Zweige und Sterne festgelegt. Ein 1962 unter Weglassung der Zweige und Sterne gestalteter Entwurf (in Gold auf grünem Boden eine grüne Linde, deren Stamm mit einer schwarzen Hirschstange beheftet ist), wurde von der Gemeinde nicht angenommen. Man beließ es bei der einfachen Wappenfassung von 1930. Am 17. August 1970 verlieh das Innenministerium das Recht zur Führung einer Flagge. Am 1. Januar 1975 wurde Aixheim eingemeindet.
