Object history
Deutsch: Schlägel und Eisen sowie die Grubenlampe sind Symbole der jahrhundertealten Bergbautradition in Waldalgesheim. Der Pfälzer Löwe ist das Wappentier der Kurpfalz und erinnert daran, dass die Gemeinde seit dem 14. Jahrhundert bis in die napoleonische Zeit zur Kurpfalz gehörte. Tanne und Laubbaum weisen „redend“ auf die erste Hälfte des Ortsnamens hin. Der Dreiberg steht für die hügelige Landschaft.
