Chambers Asia-Pacific Submissions Process – Helping firms win and retain clients

Each year, firms of all sizes across Asia-Pacific submit to rank in the Chambers Asia-Pacific guide. A Chambers ranking is the mark of approval for firms to showcase their status as a leading legal provider and helps them connect with our users of legal professionals when purchasing legal services. 

Chambers dedicated research team conducts extensive market research over a period of seven months, collecting information about submitting firms from client referees and market commentators and analysing submissions, in order to create Chambers ranking tables for lawyers and departments.  

A recent anonymous survey of over 600 senior legal professionals found a Chambers ranking was the most important within the legal market and over 90% of the respondents stated a Chambers ranking helped retain and win new business.  

Chambers rankings help inform decisions, by showcasing each ranked firms' areas of expertise through the Chambers editorial and provides law firms with an opportunity to promote their practice and services across a range of profile pages which our highly engaged audience of legal professionals including GCs and other in-house counsel visit.  

The Chambers Asia-Pacific guide offers tailored coverage in each market, covering 34 separate jurisdictions and over 30 practice areas. Chambers ranking tables in Asia-Pacific spans across large, highly developed markets such as India, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Australia, through to smaller jurisdictions such as Fiji, Nepal and Laos. Chambers Asia-Pacific also includes coverage of barristers and sets active in the region, including dedicated bar coverage in the Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Singapore chapters.
