Congratulations to Professor Ernő Rubik who will officially be inducted into the The Toy Association’s Toy Industry Hall of Fame in 2025. Fifty years ago, Professor Rubik created what would become an icon puzzle: the Rubik’s Cube. First created as a teaching tool, the Cube quickly captivated minds across generations and around the world, becoming a symbol of intelligence, creativity and perseverance. The Rubik’s Cube has challenged kids and kids at heart, motivated athletes and academics, inspired artists and designers and made its mark on pop culture and media. This honor recognizes the profound impact that Erno’s discovery has had on puzzle lovers, problem solvers, and innovators. It is our honor to carry forward its legacy in the Spin Master portfolio. Thank you Professor Rubik, for helping to challenge our thinking and for shaping the world of play.
