🚨 New Market Alert: Firehouse Subs has arrived in Dubai! 🚨 Apparel Group recently opened the new restaurant, marking the brand’s first location in the most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. The UAE now hosts all four of the Restaurant Brands International brands, which also include Tim Hortons, Burger King and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. RBI Chief Corporate Officer Duncan Fulton recently appeared on a sustainability-focused virtual panel hosted by his MBA alma mater, Ivey Business School at Western University. The #ImpactLive discussion, titled The Leadership Challenge: Tackling Tradeoffs and Tensions for a Sustainable Future, also included JP Gladu BScF MBA ICD.D LL.D and Oana Branzei. It was moderated by Dusya Vera. Speaking about how companies' environmental social governance (ESG) strategies are delivering impact and results, Duncan said there is a lot more focus on actions these days compared to 20 years ago. Companies see ESG "as serious but want to be very deliberate in picking a few things that have impact," he said. "You have to pick priorities and you have to do them well.” When it comes to solving competing priorities, being led by your guests will ultimately lead to the right decisions, he noted.
