We are seeking an experienced pricing consultant with a background in management consulting to join our team. The pricing consultant will work closely with various stakeholders to develop and implement strategic pricing initiatives that drive revenue growth, enhance profitability, and optimize market positioning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a track record of delivering impactful pricing solutions in a consulting environment.
Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to assess pricing strategies, processes, and capabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Lead pricing diagnostics and workshops to gather input from key stakeholders and align on strategic priorities and goals.

Deliver on pricing Annual Operating plan through surfacing insights to improve margins and revenue.

Develop business cases and financial models to quantify the potential impact of pricing initiatives on revenue, margin, and market share.

Design and implement pricing frameworks, methodologies, and tools to support data-driven decision-making and enable continuous improvement.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of pricing strategies.

Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on pricing execution, including pricing policy development, discounting guidelines, and negotiation tactics.

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies through key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics and adjust as needed.

Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in pricing and revenue management, and share insights.

Asses current pricing practices, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop tailored pricing strategies to achieve their business objectives.

Conduct comprehensive pricing diagnostics, including analysis of cost structures, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation.

Design and implement pricing models, frameworks, and tools to optimize pricing decisions across the entire product or service portfolio.

Lead cross-functional workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather insights and align pricing strategies with broader business goals and objectives.

Develop pricing governance frameworks and performance metrics to track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and ensure sustainable results.

Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in pricing and share expertise with internal teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

3+ years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on pricing strategy, revenue management, or related areas.

Experience with delivering “1% pricing " to grow and maintain revenue and margins on existing portfolio.

Deep expertise in pricing methodologies, frameworks, and tools, with a proven track record of driving tangible results for clients.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and data visualization.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences.
