Yep, that's a high school stadium. Ratliff Stadium, home of Permian and Odessa High School football. I spent many Friday nights back in the 80s rooting for the Panthers. MOJO! (Notice the pumpjack in the foreground.) Although it appears to be in the middle of nowhere, Odessa (pop. 102,000 or so) is only a mile or two away.
