The closing ceremony of the Innovative Journalism in Iraq (JOII) educational program launched with CFI in 2022 was held in Baghdad on June 3 in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Dr. Ammar Taher, No. 2 of the French Embassy , Jean-Christophe Paris and Antoine Cormery, director of the Académie France Médias Monde accompanied by Sofia Amara, journalist speaker.

Based on the training of trainers and the production of e-learning videos for the benefit of Iraqi students, this 2-year program was praised by all the participants and beneficiaries, despite the complexity of implementation on site (political context and security).
In total, 12 France Médias Monde employees participated: Amar Al Hameedawi, Mohammed Farhat, Djamel Belayachi, Tahar Hani, Raid Abu Zaideh, Tatiana Massaad, Mayssaloun Nassar, Maya Siblini, Cosette Ibrahim and Nayla Saad.
It was coordinated by Sarah Stahnke from the international financing department.
