 Philanthropy has always been an integral part of Osmond's life. She has been a staunch supporter of children's charities, particularly the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, co-founded by her family. Despite personal tragedies, including the loss of her son Michael, Osmond has continued to use her platform to advocate for mental health awareness. Throughout her career, Marie Osmond has demonstrated resilience and versatility, making her an enduring figure in the entertainment world.

Olive Marie Osmond (born October 13, 1959) is an American singer, actress, author, philanthropist, talk show host and a member of the show business family the Osmonds. Although she was never part of her family's singing group, she gained success as a solo country music artist in the 1970s and 1980s. Her best known song is a remake of the country pop ballad "Paper Roses". From 1976 to 1979, she and her singer brother Donny Osmond hosted the television variety show Donny & Marie.
